Merida – Roman Heritage

A quiet day in Merida. I heard fellow pilgrims leaving early in the morning. I made the most of a sleep-in, so was the last out in the morning. After breakfast, I visited some of the Roman antiquities around the city.

In the afternoon I spent some time on further medical consultation and was diagnosed with an infection for which I am now taking treatment. I will have a proper “rest” day in Merida tomorrow and resume walking on Sunday.

Ultreia!!!
